PULLING EYEBROWS: HOW TO PROCEED
The eyebrows give the face frame and expression. For this reason, it makes sense that the eyebrows are always perfectly staged.
There are a number of ways to shape your customers' brows. In this article, we'll explain how you can use tweezers to optimally remove the wildly growing hairs on the brows.
To create the right eyebrow shape, you can pluck at the top and bottom of the eyebrow. This is where most of the unwanted hairs grow, and between the brows.
With these tips, plucking is easy and with perfect results:
- First, use any brush to comb the brows into shape. This will help you see which hairs are excess and need to be removed. It is important that the tweezers should have sloping edges and as much tension as possible so that even the very fine and thin hairs can be removed.
- To make it clearer for you and also more pleasant for your customers, pull the skin area where you want to pluck the hairs taut between two fingers and then start plucking.
Tip: From time to time, look at both brows from a little distance and check the result so that there is no risk of plucking out too many hairs and making the brows uneven. Really only pluck out the hairs that are outside of the desired shape. Why? Because eyebrows are very sensitive to over-tweezing, making them look thin and patchy. - If some hairs are still sticking out for too long after plucking, you can carefully trim them with scissors to get a uniform picture. To do this, we recommend carefully combing your brows into shape again, then carefully trimming along the line. Be sure to cut step by step to avoid leaving a gap at the end.
- When you're done, comb through the brows again, then use some conditioner and a brow soap to set it all in place.
